Inheriting from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Nha trang Education College, Khanh Hoa University's Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology was established. With a history spanning more than 40 years, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology today has extensive experience in preparing instructors in subjects like Biology, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, And Mathematics. Universities and colleges are currently receiving both pedagogical and non-pedagogical training from the faculty.

The faculty's mission is to train high-quality human resources to serve the cause of greatness in education and of the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province in particular and the South Central and Central Highlands provinces in general. Therefore, the faculty have approached the advanced programs of Vietnam and consulted the programs of some countries in the region to equip students with the most useful knowledge to start a business and meet the needs of the community. In implementing the development strategy of Khanh Hoa University, the faculty's training disciplines are becoming more and more extensive.

The Faculty of Natural Science and Technology offers pedagogical and non-pedagogical courses in the fields of Natural Sciences such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology at the University and College levels. Currently, the faculty offers four undergraduate programs (Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry – Natural Products, Applied Biology – Advanced Studies in Agriculture, and Applied Biology – Materials for Medicine) and college programs in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Informatics. Graduates from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology have strong professional capacities, satisfy societal needs, and significantly contribute to the local community's economic and social advancement as well as the university's academic mission. The Faculty will be a reliable training destination in Khanh Hoa province and the Southern provinces since it has a team of lecturers with high academic credentials, training experience, and long traditions.

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technological actively engage in scientific research, technology transfer, and production services in addition to training activities. From the beginning through the state level, several teachers have served as project chairs and have taken part in scientific research initiatives. Numerous students actively engaged in student-led scientific research, which produced a number of fruitful results.
