The Faculty of Tourism is a specialized management unit with the following duties:
- To organize the training process, make teaching and learning plans, arrange the final exam and other educational activities according to the general education program and school planning; to propose and preside over the opening of new training disciplines and majors according to social needs; to implement activities to ensure and accredit the quality of training programs of the faculty and participate in self-assessment of educational institutions;
- To organize scientific and technological activities; to exploit cooperation projects, coordinate with science and technology organizations, production and business establishments, associate training with scientific research, production and business with social life;
- To manage all staff and students according to the decentralization in education; to formulate plans and organize the implementation of training and retraining to improve professional qualifications for officials and employees of the faculty;
- To organize the development of training programs, compile subject curricula, teaching materials, and reference materials assigned by the Rector; to propose plans to supplement and maintain the quality of teaching tools and scientific equipment; to manage all the faculty assets;
- To guide the areas of study of the faculty in the formulation and implementation of the curriculum for subjects, scientific research, and other educational activities;
- To organize educational and scientific activities; to actively exploit cooperative projects and ensure coordination with educational institutions and scientific organizations;
Heading the faculties is the Dean appointed by the Rector. The appointment and dismissal process implements the Resolution of the Party Committee and the existing regulations on higher education. To assist the Dean, there are Vice Deans nominated by the Dean or the Department of Personnel and Administrative Affairs and appointed and dismissed by the Rector based on the Resolution of the Party Committee and the current regulations on higher education.
